Konisky is a political scientist whose research and teaching expertise are in the areas of environmental politics and policy, energy policy, state politics, and public opinion. His research has been published in leading political science and public policy journals, and he is the author of several books. Konisky’s current projects examine enforcement of federal environmental laws, environmental justice, and public attitudes toward energy and the environment. Konisky formerly worked as a Research Associate at Resources for the Future, and he has consulted for various public and nongovernmental organizations.
